The Research, Innovation and Development Center was conceptualized in response to Far Western University’s strategic commitment to shift from a primarily teaching-oriented institution toward a comprehensive research-driven university. The establishment of RIDC reflects the growing demand for structured research governance, enhanced faculty and student engagement in scholarly activities, and stronger national and international research collaboration. Over time, the Center has evolved to align with national higher education reforms, global research standards, and development priorities, positioning itself as the focal point for research coordination, innovation initiatives, and partnership development within the University.
