The Research, Innovation and Development Center (RIDC) at Far Western University is established as a central institutional mechanism to promote a strong culture of research, innovation, and knowledge-based development. The Center serves as a multidisciplinary platform that brings together faculty members, researchers, students, and external partners to generate new knowledge, translate research into practical solutions, and support evidence-based policy and practice. Positioned within the academic ecosystem of the University, RIDC aims to strengthen research governance, enhance scholarly productivity, and foster innovation that responds to local, national, and global challenges, with particular focus on the socio-economicand environmental context of Sudurpaschim Province and Nepal.
